This Privacy Policy explains how **FieldLens for Salesforce** ("we", "our", or "us") handles your data. FieldLens is a Chrome Extension designed for Salesforce Developers, Admins, and Consultants to view API names directly on Salesforce Lightning pages.

We are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users. Because of this, **FieldLens does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any of your personal or business data**.

1. No Data Collection or Transmission

All code inside the FieldLens Chrome Extension executes **locally** inside your browser sandbox.

  • No Tracking: We do not track what Salesforce orgs you visit, what records you view, or what API names you click.
  • No External Storage: We do not operate any database or cloud servers that receive data from the extension.
  • No Salesforce Access: The extension parses the local browser page DOM (Document Object Model) to read field labels. It does not authenticate with Salesforce APIs on your behalf, nor does it have access to your username or password.

2. Permissions Explained

To provide its utility, FieldLens requests the following permissions upon installation:

Host Permissions (*.salesforce.com, *.force.com, *.lightning.force.com)

Required to let the content script inject API name badges on your Salesforce Lightning pages. FieldLens is blocked from running on any other domain.

clipboardWrite

Required to let you copy an API name instantly to your clipboard when you click on its badge.

3. Website Analytics

While the **extension itself has zero tracking**, this marketing landing website (fieldlens.pulsebitweb.com) uses Google Analytics (GA4) to track high-level visitor interactions (such as clicks on the "Install Extension" button). We do not collect names, email addresses, or specific Salesforce credentials on this website.

4. Compliance with Google Web Store Policies

FieldLens complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the **Limited Use** requirements. We do not use or transfer user data for advertising, marketing, or personalized profiling purposes.
